mail from Ray Johnson - USA
This posting requires some explenation. When Ray Johnson was still alive, he was one of the persons I interviewed in my mail-interview project (see: http://jas.faximum.com/library/tam/tam_34.htm with the text of the interview and http://mailinterviews.blogspot.com/ for some interviews or start at: http://www.iuoma.org/interview.html that explains the complete project).

Mail from Roland Halbritter - Germany
Roland Halbritter's experiment arrived without any problem. No postage, and not even a card on which they would indicate that I have to pay something. They oly marked the card with T 65/70. So they noticed something was wrong, but nobody has consequences.

The remake of Untitled-14 by Ruud Janssen
The remake of Untitled-14 by Ruud Janssen. Nico van Hoorn sent me a card from his series Untitled. I transformed it to a Title 15 card and documented it with a video while making the card. A Mail-Art Performance in the tradition of Fluxus. Made by Ruud Janssen on November 15th 2009. More details see also Nico's blog at: http://nicovanhoorn-mail-art.blogspot.com/

New LOGO for the IUOMA
Currently I am looking for a new logo for the IUOMA. When members like the new logo, it will be used to publish some PR materials which will be distributed (stickers, stamps, etc). So currently all logo's are collected at: http://iuoma-network.ning.com/ in a special group , direct link is:
http://iuoma-network.ning.com/group/iuomaprmaterials/forum/topics/new-logo-for-the-iuoma
So, if you can create something for the IUOMA it will be considered. I will assign a group of multimedia students to the tast to transform the suggestions in real digital products which can be processed and printed professionally in high resolution.

"I got fed up of posts on my facebook wall, so I thought I'd close my facebook account and get back to my blogging roots so I set this site up to receive REAL post. From REAL people. Any post sent to me will be put up here and photographed every day until new mail comes in. Don't forget to click on each photo to go through to it's flickr page where you will find full annotations."

outgoing Mail-Art
As you can see I have been sending out lots of envelopes again. I am using all kind of rubberstamps from the TAM Rubberstamp archive so people can see them again. It is also good for conserving the rubber. The ink has special oil in it to make the rubber last for decades. When the rubber is not oiled it will go bad within 5 years. So using the rubber again is essential for the oldfashioned rubberstamps....
